Booking T's and C's

OCHE The Strand Online Bookings (Bookings of 2 to 24 people)

You can book playing time at OCHE The Strand, London safely and efficiently at www.oche.com/uk/london. You choose what time, day and how many friends you want to bring. Booking of playing time is prepaid, and you will receive the booking reference by email. The booking reference is used when you arrive at the venue. Please read these terms and conditions that apply when you book with us. Please note the below terms and conditions only apply to online reservations, for all event/package bookings please refer to the T&C's outlined on your invoice or in the selection below. Should you have any questions feel free to contact your event manager directly on [email protected].

BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND PREPAYMENT:

In order to confirm your booking, you will have to pay for darts play in advance. Please fill in your full name, phone number and email in the booking. You will receive a payment link via email, please follow the link to complete the payment. Your booking is reserved upon completion of payment. Payment links have an expiration date and non-payment will result in the reservation request being removed without notice.

CANCELLATIONS:

All dart bookings are final and Oche will only provide refunds or credits should you wish to cancel or reduce player numbers on your dart booking up to 48 hours prior to the booking time and date. Fees may apply for late cancellations and no-shows of Bar and restaurant bookings. For larger groups and on key occasion days for our business, we reserve the right to increase the notice required. This will be outlined in your booking journey.

REDUCED GUEST NUMBERS / NO SHOWS:

There are no refunds or monies transferred available should there be a reduction in final numbers on the day of the function or once final numbers are confirmed and paid for. In the event of no shows on the day, dart play cannot be transferred to food or beverage credit. For all bookings your booth/table will be held for 20 minutes. After this time your table may be charged a cancellation fee and your table may be given away. If you are late for your reservation, this may be taken off your total booking time.

POSTPONEMENT:

Postponement may be offered if requested up to 5 days prior to the booking date. Rebooking of postponement must be done within 3 months. If a guest wants to postpone without a set date locked in - it will be moved to 3 months away and it is up to the guest to advise of the new date. If the date comes up without contact from the guest the payment will be forfeited.

PROPERTY AND DAMAGES:

The Guest will be financially responsible for any damage sustained to Oche property and/or fittings prior to, during or after the function by the Guest, their function’s guests, or contractors engaged by the Guest. The Guest will be charged for any repairs, labour or replacement, as deemed necessary by management.

PRE-ORDER PACKAGES                

All package pre-orders must be made within 72 hours of your booking starts. Any changes in the number of persons must be notified within 72 hours before the booking starts. Otherwise, the pre-booking will be charged in full.

PHOTOGRAPHY

By entering the venue you consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed by our marketing team, or by photographers and videographers acting on behalf of Oche. These images and videos may be used online posts and in other marketing materials to showcase the vibrant atmosphere and experiences at OCHE. If photography or filming is taking place in the venue, it will be signposted.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Oche does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking. 

AGE POLICY

Under 18’s are permitted until 5:30 pm daily when accompanied by a responsible adult. After this time which the venue will be strictly over 18’s only. We run a strict Challenge 21 policy, so if you’re lucky enough to look under 21, you will be asked to provide proof of age to show you are over 18. We accept passports and UK driving licenses only. Photocopies will not be accepted.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse entry to the premises and may undertake security searches for the benefit of everyone's enjoyment and safety. Throughout your party's visit to the premises, everyone in your group is required to act responsibly. The management of Oche UK reserves the right to refuse to honour a booking and/or eject visitors who are deemed to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, acting violently, disruptively, or irresponsibly; causing a nuisance to others; or responsible for the commissioning of a criminal or civil offence.

OCHE The Strand Events & Package (25 people or more) Terms and Conditions

Upon making payment to Oche UK you are entering into a contract and agreeing to the following terms and conditions set out below:

For the purpose of this agreement, Oche UK Ltd will be known as the “Caterer”, “we”, “us” or “our”. The person to whom these terms and conditions are addressed will be referred to as the “Client”, “you” or “your” Oche Strand Event T&C’s

1. Services

1.1 Caterer agrees to provide services to the Client for the booking of a space (part of, or the entire venue) for a special occasion (such as a birthday), known as the “Event,”. You can only book an Event in advance. Our Events Team may contact you to confirm the requirements. Events have different rules than those for standard bookings.

1.2 For this Event, Caterer agrees to provide food and entertainment (through games like darts and/or shuffleboards).

2. Deposit 2.1 Client is required to pay a deposit of 25% of the total charges for the Event (unless we otherwise agree in advance in writing), the “Deposit”. 2.2 The Deposit is non-refundable and shall be paid to Caterer in full, at the point that we present you with the invoice, and no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled Event start date in relation to the deposit

3. Payment 3.1 For the above services, Client will pay the total sum invoiced including the Deposit outlined in Section 2.

3.2 Client may request additional services, with the knowledge that these services will add to the total charges agreed upon by this agreement, and must be agreed to in writing, either as an addendum to this Agreement, or in a separate document. 3.3 The balance of the total charges for the Event is due 14 days prior to the Event.

4. Guests 4.1 Client agrees to provide Caterer with the total number of guests at the time of the booking. Any changes to the number of guests must be notified 72 hours before the Event starts, and any requests to increase guest numbers are subject to the availability of any additional space that may be required. 4.2 Client agrees to break down the guest list into adults and children, and include any food allergies or special dietary requests, if applicable

5. Menu 5.1 All packages and pre-orders must be made finalised at the time of your balance payment and no later than 14 days prior to the start of your booking. 5.2 Any requests for minor changes in the number of persons or pre-order requirements must be notified within 72 hours before the booking starts.

6. Cancellation Policy 6.1 The Client may cancel this Agreement 14 days prior to the Event. In that case the Client is entitled to a refund minus the Deposit. If you decide to postpone more than 14 days prior (30 days during the month of December) to the start of the Event, then your Event deposit can be applied toward a future date for the Event; provided that you choose a date that falls within three months of the originally scheduled date. Otherwise, we will be entitled to keep the Deposit. 6.2 If the Event is cancelled or rescheduled less than 14 days prior (30 days during the month of December) to the start date of the Event you are responsible for the balance of the total charges due to us, including any applicable catering minimums that you have booked. As we are an indoor premises, this cancellation policy applies regardless of the weather on the day of the scheduled Event, except when this is outside of our control. 6.3 Cancellation occurring less than 14 days (30 days during the month of December) before the Event will result in a forfeiture of the total charges (including the Deposit), as outlined in Section 3 6.4 In the event the Client postpones their booking the 14 day refund policy as outlined in section 6.1 will no longer be applicable 6.5 Where applicable if the Client postpones their event, any pre-agreed minimum spend will be subject to change in line with the new event date and timings.

7. Refunds 7.1 There are no refunds, monies transferred or credit available should there be a reduction in final numbers on the day of the function or once final numbers are confirmed and paid for or if the full pre-payment is not used in full on the day of the event. In the event of no shows on the day, dart or shuffle play cannot be transferred to food or beverage credit.

7.2 In any instance where alcohol has been purchased and not consumed in its entirety, it can not be taken from the venue as per the terms of our premises licence. In the event you have purchased a package which includes drinks vouchers they are only valid for the duration of your event, and cannot be exchanged for money, credit, or be redeemed at another time. 8. Force Majeure In the event that either party is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement as a result of a force majeure, neither party shall be liable to the other for consequential damages resulting from lack of performance. “Force Majeure” shall mean fire, earthquake, flood, act of God, riots or civil commotions, litigation, war or other act of any foreign nation, power of government, or governmental agency or authority. If the Event cannot proceed due to something happening outside of the Caterer’s control, the Client will be allowed to apply the Deposit towards a rescheduled Event

9. Termination Rights 9.1 We have the right to terminate the agreement if you: (a) are in breach of your obligations under this agreement; (b) fail to make the payment after we remind you that payment is due; or (c) do not, within a reasonable time of us requesting it, provide us with the requested information that is necessary for us to provide the services. If we terminate the agreement for reasons set out in the paragraph above, we will refund any charges you have paid in advance for services we have not provided (not including your deposit) but we may deduct or charge you reasonable compensation for the net costs we will incur as a result of your actions described above. 9.2 The Caterer is authorised to always terminate the provision of services to Client (or any of the Client’s guests) if the Client acts in breach of the internal rules and/or the rules of conduct or otherwise acts in such manner that the order and the rest within the venue are disrupted. As the occasion arises the guest must on demand leave the venue without a refund

10. Liability of the Caterer 10.1 The Caterer shall be liable towards the Client for damages that are the result of a failure of the Caterer to comply with the agreement, unless the said failure cannot be blamed on the Caterer or persons on whose assistance the Caterer relies during the implantation of the agreement. 10.2 The Caterer does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left in the venue during the Event. The Client indemnifies the Caterer against claims of the guests in connection therewith. The provisions set forth here are not applicable to the extent that the damage or the loss can be blamed on intent or gross negligence of the Caterer.

11. Liability of the Client The Client (and its guests) are liable for any and all damages that are inflicted on the Caterer as a direct or indirect result of an imputable failure to comply and/or an unlawful act, including a violation of the internal rules, committed by the Client, guest or those accompanying the same as also for damages that are inflicted by an animal of which they are the holder or that falls under their supervision. The Client will be financially responsible for any damages sustained to the venue during the Event. The Client will be charged for any repairs, labour or replacement, as deemed necessary by the Caterer.

12. Age Policy If you are under 18 of age, you are permitted in our venue until 5pm daily when accompanied by a responsible adult. After which the venue will be strictly permitted for individuals over the age of 18. We run a strict challenge 25 policy, so if you are lucky enough to look under 25, you will be asked to provide proof of age to show you are over 18. We accept passports and local driving licenses only. Photocopies will not be accepted. 13. Jurisdiction 13.1 Caterer and Client agree to use their best efforts to resolve any disputes under this agreement through informal means. In the unlikely event that formal action must be taken, this agreement will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 13.2 Any and all claims of the customer expire after a period of one year has lapsed since they arose.

14. Photography
